Last updated: 16 October 2026

This policy explains how D’Arblay Street Gallery (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles your personal data on this website, darblaystreet.com.

Who we are

D’Arblay Street Gallery is a photography gallery run by David Levine. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

If you have any question about your data, contact us at gallery@darblaystreet.com. We do not publish a postal address, as we are a self employed business. A correspondence address is available on request where one is legally required.

What data we collect and why

When you apply to exhibit with us or get in touch about the gallery, you send us your details by email or through our Linktree page, usually your name, email address, a link to your work and any message you include. This isn’t stored in a website database, it reaches us by email.

We use this data only to reply to you and to consider your application.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website.

Analytics cookies. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it. You can block these in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

How long we keep your data

We keep application and enquiry emails only as long as we need them to deal with your request, then delete them.

Who we share data with

We share data only where needed to run the gallery. This includes Google for analytics. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct data that is wrong
  • ask us to delete your data
  • ask us to limit how we use it
  • object to how we use it
  • ask for your data in a portable format

To use any of these rights, email gallery@darblaystreet.com.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at gallery@darblaystreet.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you how we plan to deal with it.

If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
