Tim Houghton is a British photographer whose work explores vulnerability, isolation, and the quiet psychological spaces that exist beneath everyday life. Based on the south coast of England, Tim’s practice is shaped by long-term interests in human behaviour, identity, and the unseen tensions that sit just below the surface of public life. His work moves between the raw intimacy of private spaces and the anonymous theatre of the street.
Alongside his photographic practice, Tim is also a wellbeing practitioner and martial arts instructor, disciplines that deeply inform his sensitivity to body language, presence, and emotional states. His ongoing series continue to document the fragile edge between resilience and fragility in modern life.
