Tobias Slater-Hunt is a UK based photographic artist and educator. He graduated from Plymouth University in 1992 with a BA hons degree and completed his Masters degree at Brighton University in 2010.
Tobias makes images for exhibition and publication, his project Closer to God being in several group shows as well as being shortlisted for the Taylor Wessing prize in 2011. He continues to make work for new projects, the most recent being the Quotidian Body, developing his studio based practice in his hometown of Brighton.
Tobias is also an educator and facilitator for photographers. Mentoring up and coming photographers worldwide as well as running several photography courses and masterclass workshops each year. He is a keen advocate for photography being a voice of change and a route to creativity.
