Regarded as one of the UK’s preeminent illustrators and cartoonists, Chris’s talent has garnered widespread recognition, notably earning him commendation as Political Cartoonist of the Year at the prestigious 2013 Press Awards.
Beyond his acclaimed contributions as an illustrator, Chris has carved a niche as a bestselling author, weaving captivating narratives that have enchanted readers worldwide. His repertoire boasts the medal-winning picture book “The Emperor of Absurdia,” a whimsical creation that captured hearts and accolades alike. Additionally, his acclaimed Ottoline series and the recipient of the 2013 Costa Children’s Book award, “Goth Girl,” stand as testaments to his storytelling prowess.
Collaborating with author Paul Stewart on “The Edge Chronicles” has been a crowning achievement, with their collective works achieving remarkable global sales, numbering in the millions.
